Introduction
This booklet is a simple translation with transliteration for the sunmmurized form of the well-known dhikr- salawat collection Jalaiyyah Ratib.
The intention behind this booklet is only to give a general idea for the readers about the Ratib with the hope that this will help them to be more devoted in following the dhikrs and supplications included in the Ratib.
Reciting the Quran, Dhikrs or any ibadah knowing their meaning is very effective and more rewarding than reciting them without understanding their meaning.
Imamul Aroos Qutbuzzaman Allamah Sayyid Muhammad Mappilai Labba (Q.S) (who is author of more than 150 Islamic books) designed this Rateeb (which is called Jalaaliyyyah Rateeb).
This Rateeb has been experienced in world wide as every special and very effective. Many miracles were reported for this Rateeb in the past and current. In sha Allah, we can also try to read it sincerely and win great achievements for our success in the both worlds.
Sincere efforts are made, to ensure the accuracy of the Arabic text and translations within this booklet. Please try to focus on the Arabic text as transliterations are given as last choice for those who are not able to read Arabic at all. In many letters Arabic differ with English.We try to overcome this issue by adding signs like comma, apostrophe etc and using two letters for one letter …etc. It is very clear for us that the exact transliteration is quite difficult.
So, transliterations are not given here for Qur’anic verses included in Ratib.
This booklet is a simple guide for those who want to read and practice Jalaliyyah Ratib. Interpretation is not intended here. There are many special terms mentioned in Ratib which require more explanations. Looking to the scope and nature of this booklet we leave it here.
Here I make dua’ to Allah to accept this small work from me and to include all of us, our parents and all our beloved ones among his pious servants.

أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
إِلَى حَضْرَةِ سَيِّدِنَا الْمُصْطَفَى وَشَفِيْعِنَا الْمُقْتَفَى وَمَوْلاَنَا الْمُجْتَبَى مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمْ
الْفَاتِحَة
أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ * الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ * الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ* مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ * إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ * اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ * صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ-آمِيْنْ
In the Name of Allāh, the Beneficent, the Merciful. All praise be to Allāh, Lord of the worlds. The Beneficent, the Merciful. Owner of the Day of Judgment. You only do we worship, and You only do we beg for help. Guide us on the straight path. The path of those whom You have favoured; not (the path) of those who earn Your anger nor of those who go astray. (1:1-7)
بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ -الم – ذَلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ- والَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَبِالآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ- أُوْلَـئِكَ عَلَى هُدًى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
In the Name of Allāh, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Alif, Lam, Meem. That is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them, And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith]. Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful.
وَإِلَـهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ لاَّ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ
And your God (Allah) is only one God. There is no God except him. He is most Beneficent, the most merciful…
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Allāh! None is worthy of worship but He, The Ever-Living, The Self-Subsisting by Whom all subsist; Slumber overtakes Him not, nor sleep; to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth; who is he that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them
and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge, except what He wills; His Seat extends over the heavens and the earth and He is never weary of preserving them both; and He is the Highest, the Supreme. (2:255)

شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّهُ لاَ إِلَـٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ وَٱلْمَلاَئِكَةُ وَأُوْلُواْ ٱلْعِلْمِ قَائِمًا باِلْقِسْطِ لَا إِلَهَ إلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمْ
Allah bears witness that LaIlla Illah Huwa( none has the right to be worshipped but He), and the angles, and those having knowledge ( also give this witness) ; ( He is always) maintaining His creation in justice . La illahillal Huwa, the All-Mighty , The All-Wise ( Qura'an 3:18)
إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الإِسْلاَمُ
Verily the religion before Allah is Islam
قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ ۖ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.
تُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ ۖ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ ۖ وَتَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
Say (O Muhammad
You make the night to enter into the day, and You make the day to enter into the night (i.e. increase and decrease in the hours of the night and the day during winter and summer), You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give wealth and sustenance to whom You will, without limit (measure or account).
لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَإِنْ تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ يُحَاسِبْكُمْ بِهِ اللَّهُ فَيَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرْ
To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth. Whether you show what is in your minds or conceal it, Allah calls you to account for it. He forgives whom He pleases, and punishes whom He pleases. For Allah has power over all things.

آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَمَلآئِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لاَ نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّن رُّسُلِهِ وَقَالُواْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ – لاَ يُكَلِّفُ اللّهُ نَفْسًا إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ رَبَّنَا لاَ تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لاَ طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَآ أَنتَ مَوْلاَنَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِين
The (Prophetic) Messenger believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and (so did) the believers; they all believed in Allāh. and His Angels and His Books and His (Prophetic) Messengers; (they said) we make no distinction between any of His (Prophetic) Messengers; and they said: we hear and we Allāh does not place on any soul a burden obey, but to the extent of its capacity; (Grant us) Your forgiveness Our Lord, and to You is the eventual return. for it is (the benefit of) what it has earned, and against it (the evil of) what it has wrought:Our Lord! Do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake, Our Lord! Do not lay on us such a burden as You did lay on those before us; Our Lord! Do not impose upon us that which we do not have the strength to bear; and pardon us and grant us forgiveness and have mercy on us, You are our Protector, so help us against the unbelieving people.

يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ ارْحَمْنَا (3)
Yaa arhamarraahimeena rhamnaa (3)
Oh, the most merciful among all merciful ones, please show mercy upon us
لَا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيْتُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْئٍ قَدِيْرٌ (3)
Lā ilāha Illallāhu Wahdahū lā sharīka lahu Lahu’l Mulku wa Lahu’l Hamdu, Yuhyī wa Yumītu wa Huwa ‘alā kulli shay’in Qadīr
None is worthy of worship except Allāh, He is One, He has no partner, His is the Kingdom and His is the praise, He gives life and He causes death and He is Powerful over all things
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ اَكْبَرُ (3)
SubhānAllāhi wa’l Hamdu Lillāhi wa lā ilāha Illallāhu Wallāhu Akbar
Glory be to Allāh and all praise is for Allāh and none is worthy of worship except Allāh and Allāh is Most Great.
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيْمِ (3)
SubhānAllāhi wa bi-Hamdihi SubhānAllāhi’l ‘Azīm
Glory be to Allāh with His (Own) Praise; Glory be to Allāh, the Exalted.
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ (3)
Rabbana’ghfir lanā wa tub ‘alaynā Innaka Anta’t Tawwāb u’r Rahīm
Our Lord, forgive us and relent towards us; truly, You are the Forgiver, the Merciful
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ (3)
Allāhumma salli ‘alā Muhammad, Allāhumma Salli ‘alayhi wa Sallim
O Allāh! Bestow blessings on Sayyidinā Muhammad(s’allallahu alaihi Wasallam ), O Allāh! Bestow blessings on him and peace.
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ كُلِّهَا مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ (3)
A‘ūdhu bi- Kalimāti llāhi’t tāmmāti kulliha min sharri mā khalaq
I take refuge in the complete words of Allāh -in all- from the evil in what He has created
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْئٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ (3)
Bismillāhi lladhī lā yadurru ma‘a Ismihi shay’un fi’l ardi wa lā fi’s-samā’ wa Huwa’s Samī‘ u’l ‘Alīm
In the Name of Allāh Who causes, no harm to come together with His Name from anything whatsoever in earth or in heaven, for He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
رَضِيْنَا بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالْإِسْلاَمِ دِيْنًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيًّا وَرَسُولَا(3)
Radīnā Billāhi Rabban wa bi’l Islāmi dīnan wa bi Muhammad-in swallallahu alaihi wasallama Nabiyyān wa rasoola
We are content with Allāh as Lord, and with Islām as religion, and with Sayyidunā Muhammad swallallahu alaihi wasllam as Prophet and messenger
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الْخَيْرُ وَالشَّرُّ بِمَشِيْئَةِ الله (3)
Bismillāhi wa’l Hamdu Lillāhi a’l khayru wa’sh sharru bi-Mashīatillāh
In the Name of Allāh, and all praise is for Allāh, and the good and the evil are by the Will of Allāh.
آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ تُبْنَا إِلَى اللَّهِ بَاطِنًا وَظَاهِرًا (3)
Āmannā Billāhi wa’l Yawmi’l Ākhir tubnā Ila llāhi bātinan wa zāhirā
We believe in Allāh and the Last Day (of Judgment), we repent to Allāh secretly and openly
يَا رَبَّنَا وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَامْحُ الَّذِي كَانَ مِنَّا (3)
Yā Rabbanā wa‘fu ‘annā wa’mhulladhī kāna minnā
O Our Lord! Pardon us, and wipe out whatever (sins) we may have committed.
يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ أَمِتْنَا عَلَى دِيْنِ الْإِسْلاَمِ (7)
Yā Dha’l Jalāli wa’l Ikrām amitnā ‘alā dīni’l Islām
O The Possessor of Majesty and Honour, cause us to die in the religion of Islām
يَا قَوِيُّ يَا مَتِيْنُ اكْفِ شَرَّ الظَّالِمِيْنَ (3)
Yā Qawiyyu Yā Matīn ikfi sharraz-zālimīn
O the Most Mighty, O the Authoritative One, protect us from the evil of the unjust.
أَصْلَحَ اللَّهُ أُمُوْرَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ صَرَفَ اللَّهُ شَرَّ الْمُؤْذِيْنَ (3)
Aswlaha llāhu umūra’l Muslimīn Swarafallāhu sharra’l mu’dhīn
May Allāh improve the affairs of the Muslims, may Allāh turn away the evil of the harmful
يَا عَلِيُّ يَا كَبِيْرُ يَا عَلِيمُ يَا قَدِيْرُ يَا سَمِيْعُ يَا بَصِيْرُ يَا لَطِيْفُ يَا خَبِيْرُ (3)
Yā ‘Aliyyu Yā Kabīr Yā ‘Alīmu Yā Qadīr Yā Samiu Yā Baswir Yā Latīf Yā Khabīr
O the Highest, O the Greatest, O the All-Knowing, O the Powerful One, O the All-Hearing, O the All-Seeing, O the Gentle, O the All-Aware.
يَا فَارِجَ الْهَمِّ وَيَا كَاشِفَ الْغَمِّ يَا مَنْ لِعَبْدِهِ يَغْفِرُ وَيَرْحَمُ (3)
Yā Fārij al-hammi wa Yā Kāshifal ghammi Yā man li-‘abdihi Yaghfiru wa Yarham
O the Dispeller of anxiety, O the Remover of grief, O the One Who to His servant is Forgiving and Merciful
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ رَبَّ الْبَرَايَا وَنَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا (11)
Astaghfirullāha Rabbal-barāyā Wa Nastaghfirullāha min al-khatāyā
I seek forgiveness of Allāh, the Lord of all creation. I seek forgiveness of Allāh for all mistakes
الْقَصِيْدَة
Qas’eedah
وَارْفَعَنْ شَيْخَنَا وَلِيًّا رَضِيًّا بَشِّرَنْ باِلصَّلَوةِ طَهَ نَبِيًّا
Bashiran biswalaati twaha nabiyyaa Wa rfaa’n syaikhanaa waliyyan radiyyaa
Allah! give glad tidings of salutations for prophet twaha Muhammad (swallahu alaihi wassallam) And raise our sheikh as a close servant to you(waliyy) and pleased one
اِذْ بَنَوْا باِلنـَّوَى مَكَانًـا قَصِيًّـا لَسْتُ أَنْسَى الْأَحْبَابَ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا
lastu ansal ahbaba maa dumtu hayya Idh banau binnawa makaanan qaswiyyaa
I will not forget the loved ones as long as I am alive, if they have been held in love even at far
خِيْفَـةَ الْبَيـْنِ سُجَّـدًا وَبُكِيـًّا فَتَلـَوْا آيـَةَ الـوِادَاعِ فَخَـرُّوا
Fatalau aayatal widaai fakharroo …Kheefatal baini sujjadan wa bukiyyaa
When they crossed by signs of parting, they fell down, in sujood (prostration) and cried in fear of separation.
كُلَّمَـا اشْتَقـْتُ بُكـْرَةً وَعَشِيًّـا وَبِذِكْرَاهُـمُ تَسِيـحُ دُمُـوعـِي
Wa bidhikraahumu taseehu dumooi’ Kullama shtaqtu bukratan wa a’syiyyaa
On their memory my tears are flowing, when ever I miss them down and dusk
كَمُنَاجَـاةِ عَبـْدِهِ زكَرِيَّـا وَأُناَجِي الْاِلَهَ مِنْ عُظْمِ شَوْقِي
Wa unaajil ilaaha min u’zmi shauqee Ka munaajaati a’bdihi zakariyyaa
I am conversing with God (Allah) due to my great love, as His servant zakariyya (a) had his conversation.
فِي ظَلاَمِ الدُّجـَى نـِدَاءً خَفِيًّـا وَاخْتَفَى نُورُهُمْ فَعُدْتُ اُنَادِي
Wakhtafaa nooruhum fau’dtu unaadii Fii zalaami ddujaa nidaa-an khafiyyaa
When their light all went down then I returned invoking (My Lord), secretly in the darkness of the night
رَبِّ باِلْقُرْبِ مـِنْ لَدُنـْكَ وَلِيًّا وَهَنَ الْعَظْمُ باِلْفرَاقِ فَهَـبْ لِـي
Wahanal a’zmu bil firaaqi fahab lee Rabbi bil qurbi min ladunka waliyyaa
I am weakened on the pain of parting with loved ones, so, my Lord Grant me the connection with you as an aid for me
أَناَ أَوْلَى بِنَـارِ حُبِّي صِلِيًّـا يَاخَلِيلَيَّ خَلِّيَـانـِي بِعِشْقِي
Yaa khaleelayya khalliyaanee bi I’shqee Ana aula binaari hubee swiliyyaa
Oh, my friends leave me in my love, I am the worthiest of burning in the fire of love
لَسْتُ اَدْرِي اَيُّهُمْ أَشَدُّ عِتِيًّا اَنَا فِي نَاظِرِي وَحُبِّي وَقَلْبِي
Ana fee naaziree wa hubbee wa qalbee Lastu adree ayyuhum ashaddu I’tiyyaa
Whether my eyes or my love or my heart, I am confused which is more extreme
فِي الْهَوَى أَهْدِهِ صِرَاطًا سَوِيًّا اَنَا شَيْخُ الْغَرَامِ مَنْ يَقْتَدِي بِي
Ana syaikhul gharaami man yaqtadee bee fil hawa ahdihi swiraatan sawiyyaa
I am saint of love, whoever follow me, I will guide him from the desire to move towards the straight apth.
ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ يَوْمَ أُبْعَـثُ حَيًّـا أَنَا مَيْتُ الْهَوَى وَيَوْمَ أَرَاهُمْ
ana maitul hawaa wa yauma araahum Dhaalikal yauma yauma uba’thu hayyaa
I am dead by passion. I will see them on that day When I would be resurrected
وَاسْتَجِبْ سَيِّدِي دُعَائِي لِأَنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ بِالدُّعَاءِ رَبِّي شَقِيًّا (3)
Wastajib sayyidee dua’aaiee li annee Lam akun bi dduaai rabbee shaqiyya
Oh, my Master (Allah)! Please answer for my supplication because, I never lost my supplications In the past (I was granted by you all)
Qaseedah for Jalaliyyah Ratib

صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى
Swalawatul kareemi shahran wa haula Alfa alfin a’la rrasoolil mua’lla
Always Allah’s blessings be upon the topmost messenger ( ) millioin times
لِعَبِيْدٍ دَنَوْا إِلَى باَبِ مَوْلىَ مَرْحَبًا مَرْحَبًا وَأَهْلاً وَسَهْلاً
Marhaban marhaban wa ahlan wa sahla Li a’beedin danau ila babi maula
Hello Welcome Oh, the slaves who came close to the door of their Lord.
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى
Swalawatul kareemi shahran wa haula Alfa alfin ala rrasoolil mua’lla
Always Allah’s blessings be upon the topmost messenger ( ) millioin times
بَسَطُوا كَفَّ ذِلَّةٍ وَافْتِقَارٍ بِوِدَادٍ نَشَا بِقَلْبٍ تَمَلَّى
Basatoo kaffa dhillatin waftiqaarin Biwidaadin nasha bi qlbin tamalla
They stretched the hands of humility and dependence with a heart full of deep love
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

خَوْفَ مَا يَفْتُرُونَ عَنْ نَحْوِ لَيْلَى وَأَدَارُوا جُفُونَهُمْ طُولَ لَيْلاَ
Wa adaaroo jufoonahum toola lailaa Khawfa ma yafturoona an nahwi lailaa
They revolved their eye- yields the night long, fearing of getting week (in following) their beloved
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

فَغَدَوْا نَحْوَهُ سُكَارَى وَمَيْلَا وَسَقَاهُمْ حَبِيْبُهُمْ نَهْلَ عِشْقٍ
Wa saqaahum habeebuhum nahla ishqin Faghadau nahwahu sukaaraa wamailaa
Their Beloved gave them drinks of love (for Allah), they became aslike intoxicated and inclined
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

يَا لَهُ حَاوِيًا لَّآلِي وَلَعْلاَ خَلَعَ اللهُ تَاجَ عِزٍّ عَلَيْهِمْ
Khalaa’ llahu taaja I’zzin a’laihim Yaa lahu h’aawiyan la-aalii wa laa’la
Allah adorned them with the crown of reverence, what a mixture of pearls and rubies it is!
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

وَأَيَادٍ تُدَاوِلُ الْخَيْرَ كُلَّا فَلَهُمْ أَوْجُهٌ تُنِيرُ الظَّلاَمَا
Falahum aujuhun tuneeru zzalama Wa ayaadin tudaawilul khaira kulla
They have faces which brighten in the darkness, and hands which exchange the good to all
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

مُقْبِلاَتٌ اِلَيْهِ عَمَّنْ تَوَلَّى وَقُلُوبٌ تَقَلَّبَتْ بِالْجَلِيلِ
Wa quloobun taqallabat bil jaleeli Muqbilaatun ilaihi a’mman tawalla
They have Hearts turned to Allah, targeting Him letting all defiants behind.
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

كُلَّ حَالٍ يَلِيقُ مِمَّا سِوَى الله أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ تَقُولُ أَسْتَغْفِرُ الله
Alsinatuhum taqoolu astaghfirullah Kulla haalin yaleequ mimma siwallah
Their tounges say ‘astaghfirullah’ ((I ask forgiveness from Allah), All the right times from being devoted to any thing except Allah
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ مِمَّا سِوَى الله- وَكُلُّ شَيْئٍ يَقُولُ اَلله-7
Astaghfirullaha mimma siwallah Wakullu shai-in yaqoolu Allah
I ask forgiveness from Allah from being devoted to any thing except Allah, Every thing utters ‘Allah’.
نَفْسِ أَمَّارَةٍ لَهُمْ غَيْرَ مَا اللَّه وَبِنَاسُوتِ ذِكْرِهِمْ جَاهَدُوا مَعْ
Wabinasooti dhikrihim jaahadoo maa’ Nafsi ammaratin lahum ghaira ma llah
They struggled with the solitary power of their dhikr for Allah, against their wordly desires
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

وَنَفَوْا غَيْرَهُ بِلَا لَا وَاِلَّا لَا تَرَى مِنْهُمُ سِوَى لَفْظَةِ الله
Laa tara minhumu siwa lafzati Allah Wa nafau ghairahu bila la wa illa
You can not see from them except the word of ‘Allah’ With the words of ‘Laa laa ’ and ‘Illaa’ they resfused every thing except Allah
(33-66-100-166( لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ
Laa ilaaha illa llah
There is nothing worthy of worship except Allah
دُونَكُمْ سُبُلَهُمْ فَتَهْدِي إِلىَ اللَّه أَيُّهَا الْحَاضِرُونَ ذُكَّارَ رَبِّي
Ayyuhal haziroona dhukkara rabbee Doonakum subulahum fatahdee ilallah
Oh those who are present here, rememberers of my Lord Allah, Hold on their way, it will guide you to Allah
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

اِنَّ فِيْهِ الْوُصُولَ لِلَّهِ سَهْلَا وَابْتَغُوا الْقَادِرِي صِرَاطًا سَوِيًّا
Wabtaghul qaadiri swiraatan sawiyya Inna feehil wusoola lillahi sahla
Follow Qadiri way, the staright path, because to reach into Allah is easy there
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

وَحَذَارِ الْفُتُورَ وَالْكَسْلَ مَلاَّ وَالْزَمُوا رَاتِبَاتِهِ وَاظِبِيْنَا
Walzamoo raatibaatihi wazibeena Wa hazari futoora wal kasla malla
Practice its rateebs (dhikr recited on fixed times) punctually, Beware of inactivity, laziness and idleness
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

بِانْقِضَاءِ لَوَّامَةٍ بِإِلاَّ الله فَهُوَ يُسْرِي بِكُمْ اِلىَ الْمَلَكُوتِ
Fahuwa yusree bikum ilal malakooti Binqidhai lawwamatin bi illallah
It will apply you in to the kingdom of heavens, through the downfall of the Self Reproaching Soul’ by ‘Illallah’

Illallahu- illallah
Except Allah
جَبَرُوتِيِّ ذِكْرِكُمْ ياَ أَخِلَّا جَلِّلُوا رَبَّكُمْ بِلَفْظِ الْجَلَالَة
Jalliloo rabbakum bi lafzi l jalaalah Jabarootiyyi dhikrikum yaa akhilla
Glorify your Lord with the word of majesty, Your Potent Dhikr (Allah),O, friends
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

Nawwarallahu swadrakum binjilaa-i…Raini ghairiyyatin bi allahu allah
May Allah light up through the emersion, of the rust for this world with ‘Allahu Allah’

Proclamation of Allah’s existence and power
بِسِوَى ذِكْرِهَا وَوَاوٍ تَجَلَّى لَا تُضِيْعُوا نَفَائِسَ الْعُمْرِ وَقْتًا
Laa tulweeu’oo nafaaisal u’mri waqta Bi siwaa dhikrihaa wa waawin tajalla
Do not waste any time from your valuable life, with out the dhikr of Allah and Hoo
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

هُوتِ جَمْعًا بِذِكْرِ نَفَسٍ تَوَالَى قَوْمِ اَفْنُوا وُجُودَكُمْ عَالَمَ اللَّا
Qaumi afnoo wujoodakum a’alama llaa Hooti jam-a’n bi dhikri nafasin tawaala
O, my people, desolve your being in the world of divinity, merging the regular dhikr with evrey breath

وَاحِدًا فِي الْوُجُودِ كَيْ تَضْمَحِلاَّ يَا مَجَازِيَّ عَالَمِ الظِّلِّ شَاهِدْ
Yaa majaaziyya a’alami zzilli shaahid Waahidan fil wujoodi kai tadmahilla
Oh, the the representative for world of the shadow, See the one who is in real existence, to see you less
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

مِنْ ثُبُوتِ الْوُجُودِ لِلَّهِ لِلَّه لَاحَ اَصْلُ الْعَوَالِمِ بِانْعِدَامِ
Laaha aslul awaalimi binidaami Min thuubootil wujoodi lillahi lillah
The base for all the worlds is exposed of its illusive existence, with the establishment of the real existence of Allah for Allah
اللهُ مَوْجُودٌ بِالْوُجُودْ(66-33)
Allahu maujoodun bil wujood
Allah is existent and He is with the real existence
وَبِسَتْرِ الضَّمِيْرِ حَتْمًا مَّحَلَّا قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ لَيْسَ شَأْنٌ سِوَاهُ
qul huwallahu laisa sha’nun siwaahu Wa bisatri llameeri hatman mahalla
Say, ‘Huwallahu’, nothing is significant Except Him, and utter it with mandatory hiding of Arabic pronoun (Huwa) in.
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

وَبِهَا هِيْ وَهُوْ هُوَ اللَّهُ قَوْلَا لَازِمُوا ذِكْرَكُمْ بِهُو هُو هُوَ الله
Laazimoo dhikrakum bi hoo hoo huwallah Wa bihaa hee wa hoo huwa llahu qaula
Carry on the dhikr ‘Hoo- Hoo Huwallahu, and say ‘Haa-Hee’ ‘hoo hoo huwallahu’

هُوْ اللَّه - هُوْ هُوْ اللَّه (66-33)
Hoo Allah, Hoo Hoo Allah,
مُحْيِ دِيْنٍ وَلِيُّ مَنْ عَزَّ جَلَّا شَيْخُهَا الْقَادِرِيُّ قُطْبُ الْوُجُودِ
Syaikhuhal qadiriyyu qutbul wujoodi Muhyi deenin waliyyu man azza Jalla
Its shaikh is Qutub for the world, Muhyidheen Abdul Qadir Jeelani (Q.S) ‘waliy’ of Allah the almighty
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى
Swalawatul kareemi shahran wa haula Alfa alfin ala rrasoolil mua’lla

فَلَكَمْ مِنْ مُرِيْدِهِ نَالَ نَيْلَا فَهُوَ يُحْيِي قُلُوبَكُمْ بِالرَّشَادِ
Fahuwa yuhyee quloobakum birrashaadi Falakam min mureedihi naala naila
He will make your heart alive with his insight, Numerous mureeds for him have gained great achievements
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى
Swalawatul kareemi shahran wa haula Alfa alfin ala rrasoolil mua’lla

فَهُوَ حَقٌّ تُوْ حَقُّ ذِكْرًا جَمِيْلًا اَحْضِرُوا ذِكْرَ دَسْتَكِيرٍ قُلُوبًا
Ahdiroo dhikra dastakeerin qulooba Fahuwa haqqun too haqqu dhikran jameelaa
Keep this dhikr for Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (Q.S) in your hearts, it is ‘Haq Too Haq’ such as beautiful dhikr!
حَقّْ تُوْ حَقّْ(66-33)
Haq too haq
Refers to that the real (self) existence is for Allah only. This is a special dhikr quoted from Shaikh Abdul qadir Jeelani(R). Shaikh used to speak and teach in Persian (farisi) language also.
This is a dhikr reported from Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (Q.S).

Some of these heard dhikrs may be unlike to our experiences. In Some dhikrs the influence of non-Arabic languages like Persian and Urdu also can be seen.
When the Auliyaullah are dissolved in the remembrance of Allah, in a state of extreme love for Allah, the meaning of Kalimatu Tauheed as well as the word Allah, would be expressed by them in various ways .
It is quoted from many of the sufi orders like Qadiri (Eg:Ha,Hi,Hu, Haq,Tu,Haq) and others (like shadzili and Rifa’i) and always the scholars had accepted them as they had no any contradiction with shari’a in structure or meaning and even they were proved very effective in internalizing the meaning of Tauheed into the hearts of the Mureeds (disciples of the shaikhs).
For further reading, there are some books (especially written on the Adhkar of shadzili Sufi order) which explain the origin of the above mentioned and similar dhikr.
مُهْتَدٍ لِلْبَقَاءِ مَهْمَا تَخَلَّى مَنْ هَدَى اللهُ فَهُوَ جَمْعًا وَفَرْقًا
Man hadallahu fahuwa jam-an wa farqa…Muhtadin lil baqai mahmaa takhalla
The one who is guided by Allah, will reach to ‘Baqa’ (getting ‘Tajallee” by travelling through stages of ‘Jam’’ and ‘farq’ ( sufi terms for stages of self- purification) when ever he is setting him alone for sincere worship.
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

اَنْتَ الْحَقُّ فَلَيْسَ الْهَادِي سِوَى الله اِهْتَدُوا بِمَقَالِكُمْ اَنْتَ الْهَادِي
Ihtadoo bimaqaalikum antal haadii Antal haqqu fa laisal hadee siwallah
Please Get guided saying ‘anta l hadi Anta lhaq’, ‘Oh Allah You are the Guide, You are the True one.no one can guide except Allah
اَنْتَ الْهَادِي اَنْتَ الْحَقُّ لَيْسَ الْهَادِي اِلَّا هُو 10-7
Antal hadee antal haqqu laisal hadee illa hoo
‘Oh Allah, You are the Guide, You are the True, No one can guide except Him
فَهُوَ يُعْلِيْهِ بِالتَّرَقِّي لِأَعْلَى مَنْ اَرَادَ الرُّقِيَّ فَاللهُ كَافِي
Man araada rruqiyya fallahu kaafi Fahuwa yuu’leehi bi ttaraqqi li aa’la
Who ever wish for a breakthrough Allah is sufficient for Him, He will rise him to grow into the highest positions
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى

حَسْبِيَ الرَّبُّ مَا بِقَلْبِي غَيْرُ الله قُلْ اِذَا مَا فَنِيْتَ لِلَّهِ كُلًّا
Qul idha maa fanaita lillahi kullan… Hasbiya rrabbu ma biqalbee ghairullah
Say, If you are have disloved fully to Allah, he is sufficient is for me my Lord, There is none in my heart beside Allah
نُورِ مُحَمَّدْ صَلَّى الله لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ الله (7) مَافِي قَلْبِي غَيْرُ الله حَسْبِي رَبِّي جَلَّ الله
Hasbee rabbee jallallahu Maa fee qalbee ghairullah Noori Muhammad swallallahu Laa ilaaha illallah
Sufficient is for me my Lord, Allah is great, there is none in my heart beside Allah, the light of Muhammad ( ) is there. There is nothing worthy of worship except Allah
مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَسَبِّحُوا اللهَ طَوْلاً ثُّمَّ صَلُّوا عَلَى الشَّفِيْعِ الرَّسُولِ
Thumma swalloo a’lashafeei’ rrasooli Mastatwaa’tum wa sabbihullaha twaula
Then read swalawat (salutations) on the intercessor, the messenger ( ), as much as possible, and glorify Allah(tasbeeh) extensively (33 times)
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى
Swalawatul kareemi shahran wa haula Alfa alfin ala rrasoolil mua’lla
Always Allah’s blessings be upon the topmost messenger ( ) millioin times
مَعْ ثَلَاثِيْنَ ذَا كَفاَكُمْ سَبِيْلَا وَاحْمَدُوهُ وَكَبِّرُوهُ ثَلَاثًا
Wa hmadoohu wa kabbiroohu thalatha Mau’ thalatheena dha kafaakum sabeela
And say Alhamdulillah and Allahu Akbar thirty-three times, it will safeguard you all the way
سُبْحَانَ الله 33 - الْحَمْدُ لِلَّه 33 - اللهُ أَكْبرْ 33
33-Allahu Akbar 33-Alhamdu lillah 33-Subhanallah
Allah is the greatest All praises belong to Allah I glorify Allah
اللهُ أَكْبرْ كَبِيْرًا- وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيْرًا -وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ بُكْرَةً وَاَصِيْلًا-
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبرْ- اللهُ اَكْبَرْ وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ
Allahu Akbar Kabeeran-walhamdu lillahi katheeran wa subhaanallahi wa bi hamdihi bukratan wa asweela- laa ilaaha illallahu wallahu akbar-allahu akbar walillahil hamdu.
Allah is indeed the Greatest, all praises are due to Him, many praises, and all glory is His alone, morning and evening. There is nothing worthy of worship except Allah. Allah is the greatest. Allah is the greatest. To Allah belong all praises.
وَاتَّقُوهُ وَرَاقِبُوهُ كَفِيْلًا اُذْكُرُوا اللهَ قَوْمِ ذِكْرًا كَثِيْرًا
Udhkurullaha qaumi dhikran katheera Wataqoohu wa raaqiboohu kafeela
Oh, my people, remember Allah a lot, and follow his commands and prohibitions and see him as your protecter
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى
Swalawatul kareemi shahran wa haula Alfa alfin ala rrasoolil mua’lla

فَادْعُوا الْحَيَّ الْقَيُّومَ دَعْوًى جَزِيْلاً اِنْ اَرَدْتُمْ وِصَالَ جَمْعِ الْاَحِبَّا
In arathum wiswaala jam-il ahibbaa Fadu’oo l hayyal qayyooma da’wan jazeela
If you want to join the group of the lovers of Allah, then sincerely call The Ever-Living, The Self-Subsisting by Whom all subsist
حَيٌّ قَيُّومْ 33-66
Hayyun qayyoom (66-63)
(Allah is) The Ever-Living, The Self-Subsisting by Whom all subsist
اللهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ 10
Allahu laa ilaaha illaa huwal hayyul qayyoom
Allāh! None is worthy of worship but He, The Ever-Living, The Self-Subsisting by Whom all subsist
وَاذْكُرُوهُ كَمَا هَدَاكُمْ طَوِيْلاً وَاخْتِمُوا وِرْدَكُمْ بِتَهْلِيْلِ ذِكْرِ
Wakhtimoo wirdakum bitahleeli dhikri Wadhkuroohu Kama hadaakum twaweela
And finish your wird) this text of dhikrs) with Tahleel. and do dhikr for Him long because he has guided you.
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ الله
Laa ilaaha illallah
There is nothing worthy of worship except Allah, Many times
مَرَّاتٍ بِلاَ عَدَدٍ
Marratin bila a’dadin
Many times (no fixed Number)
وَعَلَى الْآلِ مَا يُزارُونَ نَمْلَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَسَلِّمْ
Rabbi swalli a’lannabiyyi wa sallim Wa a’lal aali maa yuzaaroona namlaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet) , and his family, at which been held in high regard
وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ الذُّنُوبَ يَاخَيْرَ مَوْلَى وَارْحَمِ الْقَايِلِيَّ نَسْلًا لِأَحْمَدْ
Warhamil qaayiliyya naslan li ahmad Wa a’fu a’nhu dhunooba yaa khaira maulaa
And bless this author, son of Ahmad, and forgive him all the sins O, the Ruler of this universe
وَاحْمِهِمْ كُلَّ دَاهِيَاتٍ وَذُلَّا وَعَنِ الْحَاضِرِيْنَ وَالذَّاكِرِيْنَا
Wa a’nil halwireena wa dhaakireena Wa hmihim kulla daahiyaatin wa dhulla
And forgive all those who are present here and all those who are doing dhikrs
Guard all from all dangers and disgraces.
كُلَّهُمْ ثُمَّ كُنْ لَهُمْ يَاجَلِيْلاَ وَخِتَامَ الْجَمِيْعِ حَسِّنْ وَسَلِّمْ
Wa khitaamal jameei’ hassin wa sallim Kullahum thumma kun lahum yaa jaleela
And make the last moment for all nice one, save. All and be for them Oh, His Mejesty Allah
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى
Swalawatul kareemi shahran wa haula…Alfa alfin ala rrasoolil mua’lla
Always Allah’s blessings be upon the topmost messenger ( ) millioin times
وَمِنَ الْمُخْزِيَاتِ فِي كُلِّ أَحْيَانْ الْمَعَاذَ الْمَعَاذَ مِنْ شَرِّ شَيْطَانْ
Al-maa’aadha Al-maa’aadha min sharri syaitwaan
Wa minal mukhziyaati fee kulli ahyaan.
We seek refuge from the evils of syaitan, And from all humiliations all the times
فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ دَائِمًا يَا رَجَائِي بِسْمِ اللهِ ابْتَدَأْتُ رَبِّي دُعَائِي
Bismillahi btadaa’tu rabbee dua’aaiee Falakal hamdu daa-iman yaa rajaaiee
In the name of Allah, I started my supplication O, my Lord! To you belong all prises all the time o’ my Hope (Allah!)
صَلَوَاتُ الْكَرِيمِ شَهْرًا وَحَوْلًا أَلْفَ أَلْفٍ عَلَى الرَّسُولِ الْمُعَلَّى
Swalawatul kareemi shahran wa haula Alfa alfin ala rrasoolil mua’lla
Always Allah’s blessings be upon the topmost messenger ( ) millioin times
قَصَائِدُ الرَّاتِبَةِ الْجَلاَلِيَّة
Qaseedah for Jalaliyyah Ratib

وَالآلِ وَالصَّحْبِ وَزِدْهُمْ مَرْتَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali wa swahbi wa zidhum martaba
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family and his companions and increase their status
وَالآلِ مَا لَاحَ الْعَوَالِمُ مِنْ هَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa laahal a’waalimu min habaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the worlds loom in dust
وَالْآلِ مَا سُمِعَ الْأَذَانُ مُرَتَّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa sumia’l adhaanu muratabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family aslong as azan is heared methodically
وَالْآلِ مَا قَالَ الْمُصَلِّى مَرْحَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa qaalal muswallee marhabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), And his family as long as the performer of the prayers replies to Azan -marhaba (welcome )and attends for prayer
وَالآلِ مَا وَعَظَ الْخَطِيْبُ وَأَعْرَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa waa’la l khatweebu wa aa’rabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as ‘Khateeb’ advises and explains clearly
وَالآلِ مَا هَبَّ الصَّبَا نَحْوَالْقُبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa habba swabaa nahwal quba
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet (swallallahu alaihi wasallam), and his family as long as the wind of love blows towards ‘Quba’ (village to Madina)
وَالآلِ مَا لَبَّى الْحَجِيْجُ وَقَرَّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa labbal hajeeju wa qarrabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the Hajies answer for the call of Allah and soon travel to get closer to Allah
وَالآلِ مَا شَمَّ الْكِرَامُ شَذَى الْحِبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi
Wal aali maa shammal kiraamu shadhal hibaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the noble men perceive the fragnance of giving
وَالآلِ مَا أطْرَى السَّرَاةُ اُولِي الْعَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa atra ssaratu uleel a’baa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet , and his family as long as the pious people praise these five of prophet ’s family: Nabi , Fatima®, Ali®, Hasan and Husain (Their name ‘ulul a’baa’ is related to an incident in prophet ’s time)
وَالآلِ مَا فَاحَ الْمُصَلِّي أَطْيَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa faahal muswallee atwyabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the reciter of the swalawat (or performer of Prayers) spreads the sweet odour
وَالآلِ مَا نَالَ الْمُسَلِّمُ مَنْصِبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa naalal musallimu manswiba
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ), and his family as long as the reciter of 'salam' on the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam attains great positions
وَالآلِ مَا سَجَعَ الْحَمَامُ وَأَجْوَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa sajaa’l hamaamu wa ajwabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the dove murmers softly
وَالآلِ مَا صَدَقَ الْقَطَاةُ وَأَصْوَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa swadaqal qatwaatu wa aswwabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ) and his family as long as sandgrouse (a small bird famous for truth) tells the truth and gets right
وَالآلِ مَا صَدَحَ الْبَلَابِلُ غَيْهَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa swadahal balaabilu ghaihaba
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as thre nightingale sings in the darkness of the night
وَالآلِ مَا لَمَعَ السَّرَابُ وَأَلْهَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa lama’ssarabu wa alhabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the mirage shines and blazes
وَالآلِ مَا ضَاءَ السِّرَاجُ وَرَحَّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa lwaa-a ssiraaju wa rahhabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the lamp illuminates and welcomes
وَالآلِ مَا سَاغَ الشَّرَابُ وَأَعْذَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa saga syaraabu wa aa’dhaba
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the fresh drink is taken easily
وَالآلِ مَا أَبْدَى التُّرَابُ مُذَهَّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa abda Turaabu mudhhabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the soil sets forth the glits
وَالآلِ مَا بَشَرَ الرِّيَاحُ وَصَيَّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi
Wal aali maa bashara rriyaahu wa swayyabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family wind gives goodnews and gets it to rain.
وَالآلِ مَاالْأَثْمَارُ طَابَتْ مِنْ سَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali mal athmaaru twaabat min sabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the fruits from ‘saba’ (a town in Yamen) are delicious
وَالآلِ مَا صَغَتِ الْقُلُوبُ اِلَى النَّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa swagathil quloobu ila nnabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the hearts pays attention to the news.
وَالآلِ مَا غَفَرَ الْمُهَيْمِنُ مُذْنِبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa ghafaral muhaiminu mudhnibaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the Dominent (Allah) forgives the sinful
وَالآلِ مَا سَتَرَ الْحَلِيْمُ مُعَيَّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa sataral haleemu mua’yyabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family the Most Tolerant (Allah) covers those who have defects
وَالآلِ مَا الْأَبْدَانُ صَحَّتْ مِنْ وَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali mal abdaanu swahhat min wabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the bodies get cure from diseases
وَالآلِ مَا نَفَعَ الدَّوَاءُ مُجَرَّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa nafaa’ ddawaa-u mujarrabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the medicine gets beneficial in expreince
وَالآلِ مَا شِرْكٌ يُزَاحُ مُغَرَّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa shirkun yuzaahu mughrrabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as shirk (associating partners with Allah) is displaced and ejected.
وَالآلِ مَا الْاِيْمَانُ زَادَ مُقَرِّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali mal iimaanu zaada muqarribaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as Iman (faith in Allah) increases for those who are closer to Allah
وَالآلِ مَا الْاِسْلاَمُ دِيْنٌ مُجْتَبَى يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali mal islaamu deenun mujtabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as Islam is the only religion chosen by Allah
وَالآلِ مَا التَّوْحِيْدُ تَشْبِيْهًا أَبَى يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali ma Ttouheedu tashbeehan abaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as Tauheed (Monotheism) does not allowes comparison of any thing with Allah
وَالآلِ مَاالْعِرْفَانُ أَعْذَبَ مَشْرَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali mal irfaanu aa’dhaba mashrabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the knowledge is the most pleasant drink
وَالآلِ مَا نَارَ الْفُؤَادُ مُهَذَّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa naaral fuaadu muhadhabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as long as the hearts glow when purified.
وَالآلِ مَا كَمُلَ الْيَقِيْنُ تَغَلُّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa kamulal yaqeenu taghallubaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the (certainity –Yaqeen) and solid and perfect faith triumphs over
وَالآلِ مَاالْاِخْلَاصُ اَنْجَحَ مَطْلَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali mal ihlaswu anjaha matwlabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the sincerity brings success in reaching goal.
وَالآلِ مَا حَصَلَ الْفَنَاءُ تَقَرُّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa haswalal fanau taqarrubaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as Fana (it is a sufi term for a stage in self-purification ie. Annihilation of the self) is earned as we get closer to Allah
وَالآلِ مَا جَمْعُ الْبَقَا مَحْوًا سَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali maa jamu’l baqaa mahwan sabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family
As long as Baqa is the summit of the mystical manazil, that is, the destination or the abode. Baqaa comprises three degrees, each one referring to a particular aspect of the divine blessings (‘Jam’, ‘Baqa’ and ‘Mahvu’ are sufi terms)
وَالآلِ مَاالتَّمْكِيْنُ زَانَ تَأَدُّبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali ma ttamkeenu zaana ta-addubaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), and his family as long as the ‘Tamkin’ /self –possession is beautified with good manners
(‘Tamkin’ is a stage in the spiritual development in sufism)
وَالآلِ مَاالتَّهْلِيْلُ فِيْنَا مُوجَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali ma Ttahleelu feena moojabaa
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet ( ), And his family as long as saying Lailaha illallah is made obligatory for us
وَالآلِ وَالصَّحْبِ وَزِدْهُمْ مَرْتَبَا يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمَنَّ عَلَى النَّبِي
Yaa rabbi swalli wasallimanna a’lannabi Wal aali wa sswahbi wa zidhum martaba
O, my Lord Allah! Exalt, greet and bless the prophet
