Dua’ - End of the Islamic Year دُعَاءُ آخر السَّنَةِ
اَللَّهُمَّ مَا عَمِلْتُ فِي هٰذِهِ ٱلسَّنَةِ مِنْ عَمَلٍ نَهَيْتَنِي عَنْهُ وَلَمْ تَرْضَهُ
Allahumma maa a’miltu fi hadhihi sanati, min amalin nahaytani anhu wa lam tardhahu
Oh Allah, as for any act that I have done in this year which you have warned me against doing and you have been displeased with it
وَنَسِيتُهُ وَلَمْ تَنْسَهُ وَدَعَوْتَنِي إِلَى ٱلتَّوْبَةِ بَعْدَ ٱجْتِرَائِي عَلَيْكَ
Wa naseetuhu wa lam tansahu wa da’awtani ila tawbati ba’ada ijtira’ee alaika
And I have forgotten it and You have not. And you have called to repent after I have dared to challenge you.
اَللَّهُمَّ فَإِنِّي أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ مِنْهُ فَٱغْفِرْ لِي
Allahumma fa innee astaghfiruka minhu faghfir lee
O, Allah, I am now praying to You to forgive that action, so please forgive me
وَمَا عَمِلْتُ مِنْ عَمَلٍ يُقَرِّبُنِي إِلَيْكَ
wa maa amiltu min a’malin yuqarribuni ilayka
As for any action done that draws me near to You.
فَٱقْبَلْهُ مِنِّي وَلاَ تَقْطَعْ رَجَائِي مِنْكَ يَا كَرِيْمُ
faqbalhu minnee wa laa taqta' rajaa'i minka ya kareem
Please accept it from me and never cut off my hope in You O the Most Generous.
N: B-please read 3 times.
Then shaitan will say “all my efforts for my last year have become fruitless in one moment…and great blessings from Allah will be granted…
دُعَاءُ أوَّلِ السَّنَة Dua’- Beginning of the New Islamic Year
الـلـهــمَّ أنـت الأبـديُّ الـقـديـمُ الأولُ
Allahumma Antal abadiyyul qadeemul awwalu
O Allah! You are the everlasting and eternal One
وَعَلَى فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيْمِ وَكَرِيمِ جُودِكَ الْعَمِيْمِ الْمُعَوَّلُ
Wa ala fadhlikal azeemi wa kareemi joodikal ameemi l mua’wwalu
And on your great generosity and bounty is the trust
وَهـَذَا عَـام جَـدِيْـد قـَدْ أَقْـبـَلَ،
Wa hadha a’amun jadeedun qad aqbala
And this is the New Year.
أَسْـأَلُـكَ الْـعـِصْـمَـةَ فِـيْهِ مـِنَ الـشَّـيـْـطَانِ وَأَوْلِـيـَائـِهِ،
As'aluka l Ismata feehi Mina shaytaani wa Awliya'ihi,
I am asking you protection from the devil and his companions in it.
وَالـْعَـوْنَ عَـلـَى هَـذِهِ النَّفْسِ الْأمـَّارَةِ بـِالـسُّـوءِ،
wal a'wna ala Haadhihi Nnafsil Ammaarati bissoo
And help against this ‘Evil Inciting Self’/ ‘Nafs Ammarah’
والإِشْـتِـغَـالَ بِـمَـا يـُقـَرِّبُـنـِي إِلـَيْـكَ زُلْـفـَى يـَا ذَا الْجـلَالِ وَالْإكـْرَامِ،
wal Ishtighaala bimaaa Yuqarribuni ilaika zulfa ya dhaljalali wal ikram ,
And remaining busy in deeds which will bring me closer to You O Lord of Majesty and generosity
Please read 3 times: If we read it will protect from shaitan and two angels will be appointed for our protection…shaitan will be very disappointed on reading this…
Then please read this dua recommended for beginning of the year/and month.
اللَّهُمَّ أّدْخِلْهُ عَلينا بالْأَمْنِ والإيمَانِ والسَّلاَمَة والْإسْلام وَجِوار مِن الشَّيطانِ وَرِضْوان مِنَ الرحمن
One more Dua:
A dua Taught by Khizr (A) to Imam Gazzali ® at Holy Kaa’ba when Ghazzali ® imam asked Allah to grant him a meeting with Khizr (A) as stated by zaini dahlan (R) and many mashaikh.
بـسـم الله الـرحـمـن الـرحـيـم. الـحـمـد لله ربّ الـعـالـمـيـن الـلـهــمَّ إنـا نسـألـك بـك أن تـصـلـي وتـسـلـم عـلـى سـيـّدنـا مـحـمّـد وعـلـى سـائـر الأنـبـيـاء والـمـرسـلـيـن وعـلـى آلـهـم وصـحـبـهـم أجـمـعـيـن، وأن تـغـفـر لـنا مـا مـضـى وتـحـفـظـنـا فـيـمـا بـقـيَ يـا أرحـم الـراحـمـيـن،
الـلـهــمَّ هـذه سـنـة جـديـدة مـقـبـلـة، لـم نعـمـل فـي ابـتـدائـهـا عـمـلاً يـقـربـنـا إلـيـك زلـفـى غـيـر تـضـرّعـي إلـيـك؛ فـنسـألـك أن تـوفـقـنـا لـمـا يـرضـيـك عـنـّي مـن الـقـيـام بـمـا لـك عـلـيّ مـن طـاعـتـك، وألـزمـنـا الإخـلاص فـيـه لـوجـهـك الـكـريـم فـي عـبـادتـك، ونسـألـك إتـمـام ذلـك عـلـينا بـفـضـلـك ورحـمـتـك
الـلـهــمَّ إنـا نسـألـك خـيـر هـذه الـسـنـة الـمـقـبـلـة : يُـمـنـهـا ويُـسـرهـا، وأمـنـهـا، وسـلامـتـهـا، ونعـوذ بـك مـن شـرورهـا وصـدودهـا، وعُـسـرهـا وخـوفـهـا وهـلـكـتـهـا. ونرغـب إلـيـك أن تـحـفـظ عـلـيينا فـيـهـا ديـنـا الـذي هـو عـصـمـة أمـري، ودنـيـانا الـتـي فـيـهـا مـعـاشـنا، وتـوفـقـنـا فـيـهـا إلـى مـا يـرضـيـك عـنـا فـي مـعـادنا، يـا أكـرم الأكـرمـيـن، ويـا أرحـم الـراحـمـيـن،
وصـلـّى الله تـعـالـى عـلـى سـيـّدنـا مـحـمّـد وعـلـى آلـه وصـحـبـه وسـلـم { دَعْـوَاهـُمْ فِـيـهـَا سُـبْـحَـانـَكَ الـلـَّهـُمَّ وَتـَحِـيَّـتـُهـُمْ فِـيـهـَا سَـلامٌ وَآخِـرُ دَعْـوَاهـُمْ أَنِ الـْحَـمْـدُ للهِ رَبِّ الـْعَـالـَمِـيـنَ
Try to do in whole day of first muharram:
360 Times: Ayatul kursi followed by this dua is also recommended to do
الـلـهــمَّ يـا مـحـول الأحـوال، حـوّل حـالـنا إلـى أحـسـن الأحـوال، بـحـولـك وقـوّتـك يـا عـزيـز يـا مـتـعـال
