Muslim Heritage of Nediyiruppu,നെടിയിരുപ്പ്‌ - മുസ്ലിം പാരമ്പര്യം

1. Since form the olden time ,’Umara’-Rich and influential members of Muslim community were found here  whose hands were generous even towards the other regions of Malabar
2. Malabar Muslims will remember Nediyiruppu always for its great hosting for Scholars (Ulama )and big number of students by Establishing ‘Dars’ system very early providing much facilities which were not found in other parts of Malabar. Many top Ulams of the earlier generations  had studied or taught here. 
3. Old generation have good memories of Debates held here between Pathi Abdul Kadir Musliyar and Shamsul Ulama E.K Aboobacker Musliyar.
4. Nediyiruppu had been hosting for many ‘waa’ds’ (religious talks conducted mostly in open places) of top scholars.
5. All communities are very adherent and bonded towards keeping the social harmony .
