                                                               Introduction

Darul Huda Islamic University is a prominent Islamic university located in Kerala-India, which is a member in the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World and in the League of Islamic Universities. DHIU is extended by various subdivisions and several affiliated collages.

 It was established on 26-June-1986  at Chemmad from Malappuram District . 

Dr.U Bapputty Haji, M.M Basheer Musliyar, C.H Hydrose Musliyar, Panakkad Sayyid Umar Ali Shihab Thangal , Prof.E.Muhammad, Kunjappu Haji, Saidalavi Haji and Dr.Bahaudheen Muhammad Nadwi were the main founders.

The University- Curriculum is an excellent combination of Islamic and Contemporary Studies.Arabic,English,Urdu and Malayalam -Languages are also inducted in  the Syllabus.
